By registering for or using Aurelius Business through its web platform or mobile application, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not register or use the services.
Aurelius Business serves commercial buyers, registered businesses, restaurant and hotel operators, caterers, and authorised business representatives.
Customers may browse the catalogue and place eligible orders through guest checkout without creating an account. Certain features, including installment purchases, wallet services, and referral credits, require a registered and activated account.
For registration and verification, Aurelius may request business registration documents, valid identification, business address, and other relevant information. Third-party verification providers may assist with these checks.
Registered users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and all activities conducted through their accounts.
Account activation requires a ₦3,000 onboarding fee, which covers account setup and verification-related processes. The fee is non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law.
Until the fee is paid and verified, an account may have access to browsing but will not be able to use restricted features such as installment purchases, wallet funding or withdrawals, and referral credit utilities.
The onboarding fee is separate from the checkout processing fee described in Section 4.
Aurelius Business purchases products from established third-party brands and manufacturers for resale. Its catalogue includes foodstuffs, agricultural commodities, cooking ingredients, kitchen utensils, cookware, appliances, and commercial kitchen equipment.
Customers may combine multiple eligible products in one cart and complete their purchase through a consolidated checkout.
Manufacturer warranties apply where offered and are subject to the relevant manufacturer's terms. This does not exclude any responsibility Aurelius has under applicable law.
The applicable charges are displayed at checkout:
For outright purchases, the customer pays the full product value, processing fee, and delivery fee.
For installment purchases, unless a different arrangement is expressly presented and accepted, the customer pays upfront 50% of the combined product value and service charge, plus the full processing and delivery fees. The remaining 50% of the combined product value and service charge is payable according to the agreed installment schedule, generally over 30–60 days.
Once an order is confirmed after the required payment has been received, its product prices are locked for that order.
Activated accounts may access eligible wallet and referral features.
Under the standard referral programme:
Referral credits are promotional wallet credits, not cash. They cannot be withdrawn or transferred, or used for processing fees, delivery fees, or installment down-payments. Where supported, they may be applied towards eligible future purchases or outstanding installment balances.
Aurelius may investigate suspected referral abuse and reverse credits obtained through fraudulent activity.
Orders may be delivered through independent third-party logistics providers.
Customers should inspect their orders upon delivery, including product quantities, packaging, factory seals, and visible damage. Missing items, incorrect products, damaged packaging, or broken seals should be reported to Aurelius Business support as soon as possible, preferably on the day of delivery, with photographs or videos where available.
Failure to report a visible discrepancy promptly may affect the assessment of a claim, but does not remove any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Delivery arrangements and tracking information may be provided through the platform or the relevant logistics provider.
Before dispatch: For outright purchases, eligible refunds cover the product value and delivery fee. For installment purchases, eligible refunds cover the product payments and service charge paid, together with the delivery fee. The checkout processing fee is non-refundable except where required by law.
After dispatch: Orders in transit cannot ordinarily be cancelled automatically. Requests for cancellation, returns, or refunds will be assessed according to the order status, product condition, applicable disclosed charges, and applicable law. Processing and delivery fees are not refundable unless required by law.
Approved refunds will ordinarily be credited to the customer's Aurelius Business wallet. Where withdrawal is available, the customer may request withdrawal subject to verification, payment-provider requirements, and applicable law.
Customers must not engage in fraud, false representations, payment manipulation, referral abuse, unauthorised account use, or other unlawful activity.
Aurelius may restrict or suspend accounts, withhold or reverse improperly obtained promotional credits, cancel affected transactions, or take other lawful action where necessary to address fraud, payment default, security concerns, or material breaches of these Terms.
Personal, business, identity, delivery, and transaction information is processed as necessary to provide services, verify customers, process payments, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
Further information is available in the Aurelius Business Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes amicably. Unresolved disputes may be referred to a competent court in Abuja, Nigeria, subject to applicable law.
